those who are really new to creating a website think that having the .com or just the domain name would mean getting the whole website already running. you have to explain to them that aside from name, you have to have a web hosting service, and maybe add on a website builder or any CMS to really have a good website. and reality is, it doesnt just stop there.

Hi Andrew,

I stopped building my list recently because of all the spam ad swaps going on. I didn’t want to be part of the problem.

Now I’m getting back to it but taking care to be sure I’m only adding value to my subs, not just subs to my list.

Great site here. Many websites like yours cover subjects that cant be present in print. I dont know how we’ve got on 15 years ago with just magazines and newspapers.

surprised you’ve had so much success with safelists. i’ve tried various squeeze pages on these lists and get very low conversions. i think you’re wise to stay away from ppc on google. not only is it very expensive but you can easily fall foul of google guidelines with squeeze pages, ebcause they don’t like ‘em. cheers.
