A Simple Squeeze Page Is An Effective Squeeze Page

A good squeeze page can have a strong impact on the number of subscribers your list gets. Your squeeze page is your customer’s first experience with, and impression of your mailing list, and if they feel put off in any way by the squeeze page, they won’t sign up for the list. There is one important thing you can keep in mind to ensure your visitors have the best possible experience with your squeeze page: simplicity.

Your squeeze page should always mention the incentive for the reader to subscribe to your list. Whether your squeeze page details what they can expect from your list, or offers them a coupon  for signing up, you should make an effort to describe the incentive in a clear, and concise way.  For example, if your subscribers are going to get a lot of great sale offers and discounts from you, instead of writing three paragraphs about exactly what kinds of deals they can expect, just say something along the lines of  ”Get amazing discounts on the brands you love in your inbox every week!’ That way your subscribers know what to expect without being overloaded with details.

It is also important to keep the sign up form itself as simple and easy to understand as possible. Don’t offer an excessive amount of sign up options, and don’t set out to collect every piece of information about them imaginable on the squeeze page. Try to stick only to those details about them that are absolutely necessary to get them signed up for the list. Be sure to use simple and easy to understand terms to describe each field of the form. For example, when asking for their e-mail address, just label that field “e-mail” not something excessive, like “e-mail address where you want the newsletter sent”. If the form is unnecessarily complicated, your visitors will be confused by it, and they will very likely leave without actually signing up.

Simplicity is the key to a strong squeeze page. By keeping things clear and concise, you can ensure that your visitors will have a good experience with your squeeze page, and as a result, you’ll see a significant boost in the number of subscribers your list gets. So keep your squeeze page simple, and watch your list grow.

Tips For Boosting Your Opt In Rate

Building a list can be extremely challenging. Even if you’re doing everything right, you still might not be getting the opt ins you’d like. Fortunately, there’s hope. By following a few simple guidelines, you can boost your list’s opt in rate significantly.

The biggest thing to remember is that your opt in information above the fold. What’s the fold you ask? Think of your website like a newspaper. Before unfolding a paper, you are presented with all of the most important headlines, and your website should work the same way. When someone goes to your site, they should be presented with anything you feel is important (in this case, and opt in form) without having to scroll further down the page. The fold is that point where a user has to begin scrolling down to read the rest of what’s on a page, and you definitely want your opt in form above that point.

If you have an online store, consider putting your opt in form  at the end of the checkout process. Be sure to put it below the “Thank you for your purchase” message, but above any other information on the page. You want the customer to know that their transaction was successful, but you still want the opt in to appear before the fold. This helps the customer avoid confusion, and frustration, and it helps you increase your opt in rate.

If your opt in form appears on a page where the reader might want to do other things after they’ve filled out the opt in form, be sure to include a note  to let them know that they will be redirected back to that page after they’re done signing up for your list. If one of your readers is enjoying a video, or getting ready to download a few things from your site, they may be reluctant to do something that might take them away from that page. If they know they won’t lose the page they’re on, they’ll be more inclined to leave it temporarily to opt into your list. It probably goes without saying, but make absolutely certain that your opt in form does take your visitors back to the page they were on. It would be a shame to lose new subscribers over a technical hiccup.

If you keep your opt in form in a prominent place, and make signing up a hassle free experience for the subscriber, you will see a significant boost in the number of sign ups you get. Following the steps above will get more attention to your opt in form, and consequently, net you more subscribers.

Building A High Quality List

You might think that having a bigger list is going to lead directly to higher profits, but that’s not necessarily the case. Quality actually matters far more than quantity. It’s better to have a smaller list where most of the people on that list actually open the mail you send rather than a larger list where very few people ever open anything you send them.

The first step to building a quality list is to create a squeeze page. A squeeze page offers the visitor something of value in exchange for their name and email address. It’s very important that what you’re offering is actually of some value. An ebook, a coupon, an interesting or informative video, or anything else that might provide a value to the customer without adding to your cost. A good squeeze page can have a conversion rate of 40% – 50%, meaning that 4 or 5 out of every 10 people that visit it will give their name and email address.

Once you’ve got a good squeeze page set up, it’s time to bring some visitors to it. There are too many marketing methods to cover thoroughly here, so we’ll just touch on a few of the more prominent ones. Pay per click advertising through a service like Google Adwords can be a great way to drive traffic to your squeeze page. If you’re using Adwords, be sure to pick quality keywords that are directly related to your niche. Using keywords effectively ensures that you’ll draw the right people to your squeeze page.

You can also drive traffic to your squeeze page through a blog, or social marketing efforts on Twitter, or Facebook. It’s important to remember not to cross the line from marketing to spamming. If your blog, Twitter account, or Facebook page doesn’t serve a purpose other than pushing your list, it probably won’t attract the right kind of visitors.

Once you’ve built up a high quality list using the steps outlined above, be sure not to blow it. If every email you send is a near-identical sales email, your readers will stop opening your mail in no time. Instead, focus on providing informative content that gives your emails value in the customer’s eyes. Don’t ignore your sales emails all together, just make them part of a bigger picture.

It may sound like a lot of work, but following these steps will ensure that you’ll populate your list with people more likely to respond to your sales pitch. In short, you’ll be selling to people who are interested in buying, rather than having your message fall on deaf ears.

10 Keys To Building HUGE Lists on Traffic Exchanges

Traffic exchanges are the perfect places to get new internet marketers with drive, ambition and a solid work ethic inside your sphere of influence.

That’s because traffic exchanges are magnets for marketers who are marketing home business opportunities or other programs related to making money online.

After all, where else can you get 1200 to 1500 visitors per day just by surfing a few hours after supper?

And many surfers surf for hours and hours on end because they don’t mind working hard to get the results they desperately want.

But they don’t get the results they want because survey after survey shows that most people using traffic exchanges are brand new marketers with less than 6 months of marketing experience.

That means they don’t yet know how to market themselves with proven advertising tactics and marketing strategies.

These surfers are untapped gold mines.

I am going to share with you the five keys to getting theses surfers on your list right here and now.

1. Give Away Something Surfers Desperately Want and Can Only Get From You. It really doesn’t matter whether you actually create a product from scratch or repackage existing material into a new product.

For example, when I first started using traffic exchanges I used a video that James Grandstaff’s Downline Secrets 2 elite members can use to promote List Joe, a downline for viral list builders. I didn’t even have to write the email series because List Joe has an email series in their affiliate toolbox.

Basically, all I did was create a squeeze page.

2. Sell Your Offer You need to present to make a clear and compelling case as to why somebody should subscribe to your list. Think of squeeze pages as mini sales letters where the surfer can either subscribe or go on to the next site.

All you need is a headline, a product shot, 3 to 5 bullet points, a call to action and optin form. The bullets and product shot are optional. You can also use pre headlines or sub headlines as well. In fact, my performing squeeze page consisted of two graphics

3. Use Exchange Specific Advertising. By this I mean much more than sticking the name of exchange or their logo on your squeeze page. I am talking about capturing the look and feel of the exchange with graphics. I use dolphins when I advertise on Traffic Splash, dragons on Dragon Surf, cute geckos on Easy Surf Exchange and boxers on I love Hits.

4. Use Testimonials The best testimonials to use are those from people that surfers look up to. I don’t want to get to far ahead of myself but I simply read testimonials from Soren Jordansen and Tony Tezak while advertising on one exchange and picked up more subscribers from that exchange than other comparable exchanges

5. Do whatever takes to cut through clutter and get surfers to pay attention to your page I know some people don’t like audio or video and they complain every chance they can get. However, the facts paint a different picture. My tracking clearly shows that pages with audio and video gets better results than pages without.

6. Testing and Tracking are Vital When you get right down to it, advertising your list really nothing more than a series of subscriber getting experiments. Does headline A get more subscribers than headline B? You need to test every aspect of process including bullet points, graphics, call to actions and colours

7. Use banner and text ads to drive traffic to your squeeze page The traffic you get from banner advertising is hands down the best traffic you will get from a traffic exchange. That’s because people who click on your banner ads are already pre-sold on subscribing to your list.

8. Not All Exchanges Are Equal Generally, you will want to use the exchanges bringing in the most new members into the industry because you want your offer to be one first offers new surfers see.

However, different exchanges can and do have drastically different types of active surfers. For example, some exchanges tend to attract surfers who are interested in promoting paid to read and paid to click programs because the owners have designed their exchanges to appeal to those people. Obviously those exchanges would be great places to build list of people interested in pay to click programs, wouldn’t they?

Anyway, you can find out how many members are joining the most popular traffic exchange by look at the Affiliate Funnel weekly traffic exchange rankings.

9. Use Start Pages The nice thing about using start pages is that every surfer sees your squeeze when they first start surfing. You can buy the first page or, sometimes, second or third page surfers see when using a particular traffic exchange. Sometimes you can buy start pages by the day but they are usually sold by the week.

I started using video on these pages because even though the video might not fully load the first time they see the page, they will see it that week.

10. Make Your Thank You Page Sell You have your subscriber’s complete and undivided attention immediately after they subscribed to your list.

Don’t Squander This Golden Opportunity

It’s the perfect time to recommend affiliate programs and offer additional bonuses to make sure they confirm their subscription.

There is more to building lists on traffic exchanges than what you have read here. I didn’t talk about setting up the initial email series because that is subject best dealt with separately.

However, applying these 10 principles will get your more subscribers if surfers want what you are advertising, and most importantly, you put them into action.

Better List Building With Ad-Swaps

List building can be a challenging process, after all, you wouldn’t be here reading this if it wasn’t. Everyone’s always looking for new ways to reach out to their audience, and using ad-swaps can help.

Just what is an ad-swap? Basically the idea is to pair up with someone who already has a list in your niche, and help each other out. They mail for you, and you mail for them. Each of you is now reaching a broader audience than you were before, so everyone wins.

There are a few hurdles to leap over when dealing with an ad-swap. First of all, it can be difficult to find a like-minded partner with a list that’s similar in size to yours, and who operates in your niche. There are a few websites springing up to connect people with others in their niche looking to do an ad-swap. These sites usually provide a feedback system, as well as user profiles so you know exactly what kind of person you’re dealing with. These sites also typically require a fee of some sort to join, but the actual ad-swap happens without any money changing hands.

If you’re having trouble finding someone with a list the same size as yours,  don’t give up hope.  Sometimes people with larger lists will be willing to work with you. If you have a list half the size of theirs, offer two mails for every one they give you. You get the benefit of having your mail go out to a larger audience, and they get a double dose of exposure to your list.

It’s also important to remain patient. The benefits of an ad-swap aren’t always immediately noticeable. If you’re setting up an ad-swap partnership with someone, expect to deal with them for the long haul, as this particular method of list building takes time to really bear fruit. The important thing to remember here is that you’re reaching out to your niche. It may take time to build up your list, but if you’re reaching your niche, you’re building your list up in the  right way.

If you take the time to find the right people to ad-swap with, and you give the swap time to prove itself, the potential for long term list growth for both parties is great. Stick with it, and you’ll see the results you’re looking for.

Professional Strategies – Tips to Boost Prospect Opportunities

Boosting prospect opportunities is a big word for “get people that might be interested in my product to see my product and want to buy my product potentially.” It is much less complex than it sounds, it can be as easy as driving traffic to your new site highlighting what you do, cold calling potential clients and giving them a free demo of your software or service, or any other handful of other methods you can use to get prospects in front of your product.

Influence a larger audience by taking the leap to internet marketing. There are so many people online now, especially with the prospect of mobile, internet capable devices that you can target anyone anywhere with your system. Choose to market online simply because it offers the most exposure possible. Online options are always easier to market as well because a link can be left on Blogs, popular websites, forums and even social networking sites.

Make undeniable offers to your prospects. Let them know that you have the solutions to their problems and that they will never really resolve them unless you are able to help them. This means that you can even offer information up front and ask for compensation later. The information that you provide does not have to be vital but can help them a little bit but leaves them wanting more.

Offer help when prospects need it instead of trying to provide everything for them right away. Some prospects will want help with their problems and this is where you can make a move by providing the solution that they are desperately seeking. This makes it possible to help them decide that they will want to use whatever you are offering no matter what the product is or system that you are offering.

Get others to work for you even if they do not join your main business. This means that you can get them making money by making money themselves by offering referrals to your site. This process can be automated and provides a simple way to reel in prospects while utilizing the work of others to benefit you. Effective ways to do this will always vary depending on what you are marketing and how it can be easily marketed by others. This is just basic affiliate marketing and one of the best ways to make money online without developing your own product.

Pulling Traffic with Article Marketing

Article marketing is a very simple to do task which provides excellent opportunities to do list building. You will want to ensure that the marketing aspect of the writing process fits in line with natural writing styles to ensure that potential consumers of the products can flow into the products. Taking the time to look into the appropriate research towards making the article truthful yet not revealing enough to make the product useless is a very important step of article writing. The process to complete the selection of topics and dispensing is simple and can be illustrated by:

Identifying a topic – Knowing what is worthy of writing about that will not waste reader’s time. This can be anything related to a niche that people would want to learn about. Doing research into keywords that are relevant to your list is important here as well. Make sure you do some research beforehand in general to see which keywords will work best for your niche, don’t be afraid of the long tail either.

Finding Factual Source Content – You need to write truth in your article content or it will be of no use to others. If you say that something will work when you know it will not for 99 percent of the people that try it, then it can cause repercussions on the marketing of the products.

Article Construction – Having the correct structure is always important and really depends on the article. They can be anything from informative articles to reviews, lists, question and answer articles and much more. Getting the right structure for the content makes it simpler to read and understand.

Article Summaries – The article summary is usually what is used to reel people into the article to read it in the first place. Although it is not necessary for all article submission locations, it helps to stand out from the competition when promotion of the articles is done. If the articles are posted elsewhere then major article submission locations, summaries help readers decide whether or not to keep reading.

Article marketing can be a huge way and pretty easy method to grow your subscribers list. Make sure you provide value to your subscribers right away by offering a free giveaway report or the like to get them to sign up without hesitation. Make sure you include some tidbits of information for free to create value for the potential subscriber and to help lead them into the right direction — subscribing to your list.
