Do you think this plan will work for me to get a bearded dragon?

Basically, i have always wanted a reptile and ive researched a lot about bearded dragons and i know that it will make an awesome pet for me. I have tried everything i could to convince my parents to let me get one. Ive talked to them maturely about it, written a 2 page essay, told them it was my responsibility and my money to pay for it, but they wont listen. my dad hates them after my brother tried to keep a couple and they died because he didnt do his research properly, and my mom wont let me get one cuz she thinks the same thing will happen. Well, my birthday is in 10 days, and they told me today that i would not be getting anything because they cant “afford” to get me anything, even though they bought a brand new car a few months ago. So since they wont be getting anything for my birthday, i want to buy myself something nice. So im going to get a bearded dragon. i have about $300 saved up to buy everything. Heres my plan:
i will get the crickets early to breed them and tell them that we are doing an experiment in biology where we have to keep bugs or something and watch them grow. you know, something like that.Next, ill go to the store and buy supplies to bank a terrarium because it will be somewhat cheaper and ill tell them that if we build one, we will get like 5 100′s in the grade book for biology, and that we will use it later on in the year. then ill tell them that one of my friends is going out of town for a family thing and he has a pet lizard he asked me to take care of. They’ll probably say no at first, but ill be like “hes only going to be gone for a week or so and he really needs to find someone to look after it. im like his best friend so he trust me.”
so if they agree to that, i will have my friend who is helping me out to pick me up, take me to the pet store, and ill buy all the things i need, and ill buy the bearded dragon. Then after, ill go back to my house and my friend i and can set it up. Then a week later if they ask me when he is going to come get it, ill explain to them that he didnt really go out of town or anything. and if they let me keep it for a week with no problem, why do they have a problem with me keeping one myself? basically they’ll have to let me keep it since i wont be able to return it and plus i dont know how they would be able to explain them selves. i know its lieing, but you dont understand how hard i have tried. i just want to prove to them that it wont die and that i am responsible. i have 2 dogs and a bird that i take care of everyday! i dont understand why they wont let me. i even told them i might want to reconsider about being a vet and instead, working with reptiles. thats how much i love them. they just wont listen.
You opinions and thoughts please?

Best friend needs help but she shuts everyone out!?

Holly and me have been close for sometime now. Until January I was always dependent on her and I always ran my problems past her and she always helped me. I made it clear that I was always there for her too and that I all she had to do was ask but I was pretty much a mess. Then something in me clicked and I started to sort my life out. I got my priorities sorted and I started to work less and be more positive and everything else just followed and built up slowly.

I think Holly is a bit jealous, but not in like a mean way. It’s like she is always desperate to prove herself, I’ve know our teacher a lot longer than she has and we both have a passion for the subject and she acts sometimes like she is the tag along. When she never speaks in our convo after class she looks annoyed at me like I have done something.

Holly has a best friend who is a boy and he really likes her but Holly just uses him like when she wants something he has and I can see why he might think she likes him but then she says he’s like a stalker and never leaves her alone. If you want someone to leave them alone you don’t ask them for stuff, I’ve been there before and I tried to help her but she shoved it back in my face so I dropped it.

Now we are back doing our A2 and she is working flat out one night then spending the rest of the week exhausted and she’s been doing this since January. She worked for 7 hours one night to hand in an essay which was 8 pages long and a poster in for the next day when it wasn’t even until the end of term. Then she was ill the rest of the week with flu and it’s no wonder. She has started doing revision cards and keeps shutting everyone out. This was what I was like before January when I was depressed and I can see the signs in her but she won’t let anyone in. I was upset in the library one day crying, Holly had a tummy bug and was off the same day and our teacher rang me the next day to see if I was going to her lesson. I told Holly and first she said I was lying then she got angry with me and was nasty about it. The next day she denied she that she was angry about it. She didn’t even ask why I was crying or anything and was being spiteful and I don’t know what I did wrong. I have just been offered deputy head girl at our sixth form and I don’t want to tell her because I know she will get annoyed over that too.

In our sixth form it’s whoever shouts the loudest gets the attention and Holly is really quiet. She often says she is going to speak to a teacher about something but then makes an excuse that she’s not going to do it. I know this is long and i’m really really sorry I’m just so worried about her. She’s shutting everyone out saying we’re not her friends and we don’t know her and how everyone has let her down. (Sometimes I wonder whether she has just molded her past to suit her whim like she said one of her friends spilt her and her boyfriend up when I know for a fact she had no role in it and Holly said to her bf she was embarrassssed about him and that’s why they split.)

I’ve sort of been through what she is going through but I realised it myself and Holly won’t listen to anyone and it took me ages to figure it out I needed help. She’s making out like everyone is her enemy and I wasn’t that bad. I don’t know what to do. Sometimes I just want to walk out because I have enough on her plate but then I don’t want to leave.

Help I’m so confused! I need a guardian angel
