Build Email List Website

Betty asks…
I need help adding an opt in mailing list to my website.?
I have a sight built in dreamweaver (not that I am very good with dreamweaver) but I can’t figure out how to add an opt in mailing list. I simply need a field for first names and a field for an email address. Any pointers? Thanks for your help! Carolyn@thelandofquotes.com
ListBuildingExpert answers:
Have you set up an autoresponder account with somebody yet? This is by far the easiest way to manage your opt-in / mailing lists. AWeber is a market-leader in this regard, and they come fully kitted HTML code you simply copy and paste into your website for the opt-in fields you’re looking for. And, of course, they manage your mailing lists for you – much better than trying to do it yourself!
Check out their homepage here: http://snipr.com/1v5ek
Just a little side note here: They’re also giving away a really cool seminar from John Mizel titled “The SECRET to getting more money out of your customer base is…” when you sign up for their risk-free “unlimited Autoresponders” package. (Jonathan Mizel has been called the “master of targeted opt-in e-mail.”) – You can get that here:

Enjoy!

Sandy asks…
Where can I find the airing dates of TV series?
I am looking for a website that lists the dates of the airings of the episodes of many TV series. Preferably a website that lets me build my schedule and has some kind of email notification
ListBuildingExpert answers:
Check this site: http://www.serieopolis.com
It has pretty much the functionality you are looking for.

How To Build A List Of Prospects

Laura asks…
What do you think of this top 25 list?
Rivals.com 2008 Preseason Top 25: Jan. 8
1. USC (11-2)
Putting USC at the top is a safe pick because the Trojans annually win their conference, earn a BCS bid and play their best at the end of the season.
2. Georgia (11-2)
Matthew Stafford and Knowshon Moreno will give the Bulldogs one of the nation’s top quarterback/tailback duos.
3. Ohio State (11-2)
The Buckeyes’ title hopes could depend on whether potential first-round picks Vernon Gholston, James Laurinaitis and Malcolm Jenkins stay in school.
4. Oklahoma (11-3)
Quarterback Sam Bradford will try to build on his outstanding freshman campaign while leading a team that could return as many as 17 starters.
5. Missouri (12-2)
The Tigers should return three 2007 Rivals.com All-America selections in quarterback Chase Daniel, wide receiver Jeremy Maclin and free safety William Moore.
6. Florida (9-4)
You know that offense will rack up some points, but the Gators’ defense must get a whole lot better.
7. West Virginia (11-2)
The Mountaineers hope the expected returns of Pat White, Steve Slaton and Noel Devine on offense will compensate for heavy graduation losses on defense.
8. LSU (12-2)
The Tigers lose tons of talent on both sides of the ball, but they have plenty of former four- and five-star prospects ready to replace them.
9. Auburn (9-4)
Auburn’s biggest losses are on the sideline, as they must adjust to a new offense and find a replacement for departed defensive coordinator Will Muschamp.
10. Clemson (9-4)
With so much talent back on offense and defense, the Tigers can’t come up short in a big situation again. Can they?
11. Kansas (12-1)
The Jayhawks could be even stronger than they were this season. They’ll need to be better now that they no longer avoid Oklahoma, Texas and Texas Tech.
12. BYU (11-2)
If the Cougars beat Washington and UCLA in September, they might not lose all season.
13. Virginia Tech (11-3)
The Hokies’ hopes of contending for anything beyond an ACC title rest on whether cornerbacks Brandon Flowers and Victor Harris return to school.
14. Texas (10-3)
The Longhorns are banking on Will Muschamp’s arrival to boost a defense that struggled up until its bowl game this season.
15. Wisconsin (9-4)
The Badgers have a big question mark at quarterback, but they look solid just about everywhere else.
16. Illinois (9-4)
Rashard Mendenhall’s decision to enter the NFL Draft will make it tougher for the Illini to prove they’re not just a one-season wonder.
17. Texas Tech (9-4)
The Harrell-to-Crabtree combination will give Big 12 defensive coordinators plenty of sleepless nights next season.
18. Oregon (9-4)
The Sun Bowl proved how dangerous this team can be if it gets consistency from its quarterback, but the Ducks must go on the road to face USC, California, Arizona State and Oregon State.
19. Arizona State (10-3)
Rudy Carpenter returns to work behind a retooled line that has to do a better job of protecting him.
20. Penn State (9-4)
The last time Penn State had a quarterback as run-oriented as Daryll Clark, Michael Robinson led the Nittany Lions to an Orange Bowl title.
21. Tennessee (10-4)
Uncertainty at quarterback and offensive coordinator prevents us from ranking the Vols any higher.
22. USF (9-4)
The offense should be better than this season’s, but the Bulls will have a tough time replacing cornerbacks Mike Jenkins and Trae Williams.
23. Michigan (9-4)
The Wolverines could have some growing pains as they adjust to new coach Rich Rodriguez and his spread offense.
24. South Carolina (6-6)
This is a leap of faith considering how the Gamecocks ended 2007, but we’re guessing South Carolina should have one of the nation’s most improved teams.
25. Wake Forest (9-4)
Jim Grobe’s decision not to go to Arkansas assures that Wake Forest once again will have the coaching edge in just about every game it plays next fall.
ListBuildingExpert answers:
Missouri and WVU both should be ranked higher than Georgia, other than that, its a decent list.

Robert asks…
Who wants to buy our Northern Michigan cottage?
We are trying to sell the lakefront cottage we built in 2002. We were going to retire there, and designed it with a nice studio for my wife and a large workshop for myself. Our realtors haven’t found many prospects. We’ve advertised on Craig’s List, including to out-of-state areas as a vacation home. We’ve even developed a supporting website: http://mustsellourcottage.com/ It is a screaming deal, but we are having a terrible time finding the right buyer. Suggestions on who we should target, or how we should promote it?
ListBuildingExpert answers:
You may think its a great deal, but your so overpriced. Curernt listings are around 180-240K for similar properties, and its still declining. If you want to sell at your current listed price your going to have to wait for the value to come back.

reliable and less expensive than Google…

Does the sandboxing of sites still relevant now as it use to be the case a year or two back? If so, how does one avoid this?
Any check list of what measures someone should take and avoid. What has worked in your experience?
How son we were you getting decent traffic from Google. I know there are loads of variables such as competition and what not, but anything particular that worked for you?

Jenny asks…
best way for me to build muscle (teen)?
I’m 16, 6’0 and 150lbs. I’m very athletic and in shape, but I think I need to bulk up for sports so I can make varsity soccer next year, and i plan to do so over the summer. Being bigger would help, because i’m already fast and have endurance. I know what exercises to do and what to work, so I don’t need a detailed list of exercises.
Just list:
The #1 exercise that you/a friend have benefited from.
The best supplement for quick muscle growth(i.e. muscle milk, whey protein…)
how often to work out and for how long.
and for building quick muscle mass, should I do a few reps with heavy weight or many reps with a more comfortable weight
Thanks!
ListBuildingExpert answers:
You said you already know what to work so I am confused BUT if you want to build muscle than focus on your nutrition and your training!!! They are the two most important things you can do!!!! As far as supplements the only thing you really need is a high quality chemical free whey protein without any fillers or additives in it. Yes, to build mass do less reps (6-8) with heavy weight. The number one exercise..hmm i would say squats (with proper form) your whole body will grow!! Good luck with soccer and I hope this helped!

List Building Software On The Internet

Lizzie asks…
Linux, minus the freedom?
I’d like to build a very restricted work PC based on a linux OS.
1) No games, only essential software
2) Internet access limited to a list of sites.
3) Time limits for both Internet and computer use.
ListBuildingExpert answers:
PClinuxOS will be great for this.
Once you get, uninstall the few games it comes with.
It has a GUI of parental controls that will enable you to configure all of those options for each individual user account.
It has great hardware detection and pretty much works flawlessly out of the box on any computer I install it on.

Richard asks…
Sims 3 is my computer compatible?
I just bought a gateway NV5207u below are the specs.
I want to buy the Sims 3 for it .I want to be sure before I buy since you cannot return it once it has been opened.I tried posting this on the forums on the Sims 3 website, unless you own the game and have a serial code you cannot post on the forums. The system requirements section on the website does not list what it needs to run on windows 7 .I’m hoping to find someone on here that has some experience with the game and windows 7.I will also link the system requirements part of the website for the game.
